Only Three More Days until the 2018 Delaware State Fair ends and if you haven’t been this year, you should free up some time in your schedule and check it out!

The Delaware State Fair, Inc. is a diverse, volunteer supported non-profit community based organization that is committed to educating and promoting agricultural heritage and values. It is a quintessential State Fair with exhibitions and competitions involving various livestock and non-livestock events. The Fair strives to create an event that celebrates an atmosphere of responsible community involvement and citizenship.

There really is so much to do at the fair – from concerts to carnival rides to petting zoos to carnival food (I mean who doesn’t like funnel cakes or fried Oreos?) to helicopter rides to livestock events and so much more, it is truly an experience you shouldn’t miss.

Gate prices are $9.00 for adults (13 years of age and older) and $4.00 for children (6-12 years of age – 5 years and under are free). Every day the fair offers a special promotion for individuals to receive a free or discounted admission. Today, Wednesday, July 25th is “Armed Forces’ Day”, free admission is offered to all individuals with a valid Military ID (ages 13 & up).
You should make attending the Delaware State Fair a yearly tradition – it is fun for all ages. To learn more or see a lineup of events, please visit their website at https://www.delawarestatefair.com/
